Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to join our team at West Coast Personnel. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will require a strong background in compliance and regulatory requirements, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your expertise should include knowledge of the FIC Act and POPIA, as well as excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Draft and implement policies for the FIC Act and manage related processes.
  2. Conduct due diligence on clients and manage FICA workflows.
  3. Implement GAP Analysis.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including correspondence and documentation.
  5. Handle administrative requests from senior management, including filing, typing, and organizing.
  6. Liaise with clients and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of queries and complaints.
  7. Create and maintain reports, templates, and administrative systems to improve efficiency.
  8. Organize events, schedule meetings, and manage travel arrangements.
  9. Oversee office maintenance, supplies, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements & Personal Attributes
  • A degree in business administration, facility management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business / Operations Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance with the FIC Act and POPIA.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
  • Discretion and sound judgment.
