About the Role

At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Solutions Architect/Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive IT solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecture and Infrastructure Design: Develop and design IT solutions that integrate on-premises and cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Project Management and Implementation: Lead and manage large-scale IT projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Technology and System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of various systems, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Security Management: Implement and manage security best practices, including identity and access management, to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Maintenance and Support: Oversee the maintenance and support of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and security systems.
  • Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture design and implementation processes.
  • Security Governance and Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to industry standards and best practices for security governance and compliance.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure the organization receives the best possible service and support.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior solutions architect role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and MCSE/CCNA.
