About This Role

We are seeking an experienced High Precision Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at Future Africa Consulting (Pty)Ltd.

Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating high precision CNC turning and milling machines. You will also perform basic machine-related CNC programming and adhere to defined manufacturing guidelines, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate High Precision Machines: Set up and operate high precision CNC turning and milling machines to produce complex parts with tight tolerances.
  • CNC Programming: Perform basic machine-related CNC programming to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all production activities meet established quality standards and EHS requirements.
  • Production Planning: Contribute to production planning processes and determine production priorities based on established production schedules.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and Turner or Toolmaker, Grade 12 or relevant equivalent tertiary qualification, and multiskilled with more than 5 years extensive and proven experience on conventional and CNC machines.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Multiskilled: Be proficient in operating various types of CNC machines, including high precision surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, EDM Wire Cutter, turning and milling machines.
  • Fanuc Controls: Have experience in operating with Fanuc controls.
  • Computer Skills: Be proficient in MS Office Package and Outlook.
Compensation and Benefits
