About the Role

The Senior Design Consultant will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards and within budget.

This role involves planning works, providing technical reviews and quality management, and sharing technical expertise and experience with others in the company via internal technical communication and presentations.

  • Responsible for the development of high-quality design outputs and performing hands-on design.
  • Provides input on feasibility studies and contributes to the development of technical specifications sections.
  • Leads communication with clients to discuss work scope, requests information to support project execution and receives client comments on draft work products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts in a supporting role to the Team Leader/Manager/Associate Director/Director by delegating work and directing less experienced staff to complete assigned projects' technical tasks.
  • Responsible for coordinating with other disciplines to ensure there are no design gaps and provide fully coordinated design deliverables.
  • Supports business development and selling initiatives to expand work assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited University.
  • Master of Science/Engineering.
  • Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA.
  • 12+ years' experience after obtaining qualification.
