Job Title: Communication and Change Specialist

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a skilled Communication and Change Specialist to join our team for a 12-month contract. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition of IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to analyze the impact of changes on stakeholders and create customized change plans.
  • Communication Strategy: Design and execute communication plans to effectively convey IT changes to various audiences, ensuring consistent and coherent messaging across all IT communications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support change initiatives, gathering and incorporating stakeholder feedback into communication and change management strategies.
  • Training and Support: Identify and address training needs related to IT changes, develop and deliver training programs to help users adapt to new processes, and provide ongoing support and resources to users during and after the implementation of changes.
  • Project Collaboration: Work with project teams to integrate communication and change management plans into overall project timelines, ensuring that communication and change management activities are aligned with project goals and delivered on time.
Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or equivalent Diploma, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in communication and change management, preferably in an IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, processes, and project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly content.
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives and engaging stakeholders.
  • Certifications in change management or communications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
