Position Overview:
As a key contributor at Alstom, the Field Engineer for Product Introduction plays a vital role in advancing our commitment to sustainable transportation solutions. Our mission is to provide innovative mobility solutions that pave the way for a greener future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engineering Leadership and Support:
- Lead field engineering initiatives, providing assistance and expertise to project teams in troubleshooting and resolving technical and quality challenges.
- Diagnose operational equipment malfunctions and recommend corrective measures.
- Define and implement effective troubleshooting methodologies.
- Guide technicians in repair and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with management to enhance customer satisfaction and product performance.
- Drive reliability improvements through failure investigations and implement preventative measures.

2. Compliance with Safety and Quality Standards:
- Uphold environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations consistently.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures set by both the company and clients.
- Engage in continuous improvement practices to maintain a zero-defect environment.

3. Reporting and Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure thorough documentation of testing activities.
- Support the commissioning process with detailed reporting and data management.
- Ensure comprehensive failure reporting and maintain proper documentation for all engineering activities.

4. Ethical Conduct and Company Values:

- Stay informed about industry developments and maintain compliance with ethical standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in rolling stock or locomotive engineering.
- Knowledge of railway safety and RAMS principles is advantageous.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and data analytics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
