How You Will Contribute


• Set up and operate advanced CNC turning and milling machinery for high-precision production.

• Conduct basic CNC programming related to machine operations.

• Follow established manufacturing protocols, processes, and guidelines.

• Ensure that all production tasks comply with defined quality standards and environmental health and safety regulations.

• Assist in production planning and prioritize tasks based on the production schedule.

• Interpret technical specifications and assess the quality of ongoing production.

• Suggest and implement improvements to procedures and technical processes.

• Engage in continuous enhancement of maintenance and repair techniques.

• Handle and maintain all tools and equipment with care, ensuring they meet company standards.

• Uphold the health and safety of personnel, machinery, and facilities in line with company policies.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures in daily operations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace.

Qualifications and Experience


• A valid trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and Turner or Toolmaker is essential.

• Completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.

• Over 5 years of extensive experience operating both conventional and CNC machinery, including high-precision surface and cylindrical grinders, EDM Wire Cutters, and turning and milling machines.

• Proficiency in operating machines with Fanuc controls is required.

• Familiarity with other CNC controllers, such as Siemens and HAAS, is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


• Ability to machine consistently within tolerances of 0.01mm accuracy.

• Strong understanding of operational principles, procedures, and skills necessary for production machinery.

• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.

• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and Outlook.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Willingness to work overtime and be on standby as needed.

• Must reside in the local area and have reliable transportation.
