AGC Legal Recruitment is seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead our client's legal team in the manufacturing industry. As Head of Legal, you will be responsible for managing a diverse team and providing strategic direction across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of legal professionals across various jurisdictions.
  • Align legal strategy with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the operational management of all legal services, including labour legislation compliance.
  • Strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.
  • Implement and maintain legal standards, reporting any legal and ethical breaches.
  • Conduct research and develop legal frameworks to analyse trends impacting the business.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • LLB/LLM Degree (MBA is advantageous).
  • Admitted Attorney/Advocate with 10-15 years of experience in a similar senior legal role.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing legal teams in a listed company.
  • Extensive experience in corporate commercial & M&A matters, with strong knowledge of corporate, competition, contract, environmental, mining, and labour law.
  • Solid regulatory compliance experience in multinational companies, with a proven track record in legal risk management, project management, and establishing formal legal policies and procedures.
