About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Analyst to join our team at Deka Minas Pty Ltd. As a key member of our capital markets software team, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of software solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and processes.
  • Technical Specifications: Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and technology.
  • Gap Analysis and Feasibility Studies: Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to identify the best solutions for business needs.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and user manuals.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
  • Testing and Training: Assist in the preparation and execution of test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in the capital markets sector.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and trading platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience with capital markets software, such as Calypso. Knowledge of SQL and database management. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. BPM Experience is highly advantageous.
