We are seeking a highly skilled MI Governance Specialist to join our team at The Skills Mine. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance and secretariat functions of our MI Secretariat.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Maintain Governance Processes: Develop and maintain the MI secretariat and governance process, policies, and related procedures to ensure compliance with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that defined secretariat and governance processes are in line with best practice and meet all legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Support Governance and Secretariat Functions: Provide governance and company secretarial support to the MIC for matters requiring approval, including reviewing and drafting resolutions taken by the MIC.
- Manage Records and Documents: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the record and document management system for the relevant committees to ensure the safeguarding of documentation.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial management relating to the activities of the MIC and ACMI, and contribute to the development of the business unit's budget.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law (LLB) and CGISA professional qualification
- Minimum of 5 years secretarial experience (post qualification) and at least 4 years as a Company Secretary
- Experience in the Public Sector
