Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and review engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test plans.
  • Perform electrical system analysis, simulations, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and clients, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in (specific area, e.g., power systems, automation, electrical design).
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB) and simulation tools.
  • Extensive experience with electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment design.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
