Electrical Systems Lead Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Systems Lead to join our team at Network Recruitment. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, lead engineering teams, and drive innovation.

Job Overview:

The Electrical Systems Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems and equipment for various applications. They will provide technical guidance to junior engineers, contribute to project planning, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and review engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test plans.
  • Perform electrical system analysis, simulations, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and clients, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in power systems, automation, or electrical design.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB.
  • Extensive experience with electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical equipment design.
  • Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations, such as NEC and IEC.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary:

$150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
