As a Wedding Sales Manager at Whim Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional team to deliver unforgettable luxury wedding experiences.

Your primary goal is to sell luxury wedding experiences to potential clients, ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Focus: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the wedding and social event sectors, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new accounts.
  2. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with event planners, caterers, and other industry professionals to promote Camp Lucy's services.
  3. Sales Process Management: Follow established sales processes to qualify leads, conduct site visits, and close business deals.
  4. Prompt Communication: Respond promptly to all inquiries, prospects, and tentative or definite business opportunities.
  5. Lead Tracking: Accurately track and report on leads using assigned lead pipelines, monitoring conversion rates and booking statistics.
  6. Sales Reporting: Prepare and send weekly sales activity reports to keep the Sales Director informed of progress and opportunities.
  7. Venue Expertise: Acquire expert knowledge of Camp Lucy's history, venue specifications, capacities, lodging options, banquet services, and floral arrangements to effectively communicate our offerings.
  8. Networking: Attend industry events to build relationships, solicit new business, and expand Camp Lucy's reach within the wedding and events market.

Requirements:

  • Sales Experience: Direct sales experience with proven results is essential; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the wedding and hospitality industries is beneficial, providing insight into client needs and expectations.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Delphi or Salesforce is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Availability: Must be available to work weekends for site visits and events, showcasing commitment to client needs.
  • Work Environment: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate event demands. On-site presence required during events, with occasional physical activities like lifting or moving décor and equipment.
