About the Role

The Digital Marketing Director is a key member of the Hexing Electric South Africa team, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive business growth and enhance brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a cohesive digital marketing plan to increase brand visibility and revenue, setting current and long-term goals for internal teams and designing and reviewing the Marketing department's budget.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage the digital marketing team, guiding the content team in crafting engaging and SEO-friendly content, and collaborating with other teams and departments to integrate marketing strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Launch and oversee online advertising campaigns through Google AdWords, Facebook, and LinkedIn to increase company and brand awareness, oversee SEO and SEM strategies, and manage email and social media marketing campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use analytical tools to monitor and evaluate the company's digital marketing strategy's effectiveness, maintain knowledge of the marketing technology landscape, analytics, and business intelligence, and provide end-to-end project management for all digital campaigns.
  • Innovation and Adaptation: Identify and test new digital platforms and tools, stay up-to-date with digital technology developments, and adapt strategies based on analytical data and emerging trends.
  • Communication: Communicate digital marketing plans and strategies to senior management, supervise the design of all digital media elements, including the company website and individual project microsites.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital technologies, or related field; an advanced degree such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) can be an added advantage.
  • Certifications: Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or other relevant digital marketing certifications are optional but beneficial.
  • Experience: Proven work experience as a Digital marketing strategist or Digital marketing manager, strong experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM software, and familiarity with web design and content management systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and project management skills, strong team leading and team management skills, and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
