**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Stonebridge HR Solutions. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for performing various accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field will be an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SAGE Accounting, Pastel, or Xero software.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and other applications.
  • Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
