Sales Administrator for Contract Role

LMP RECRUIT is looking for a Sales Administrator to fill a contract role in their offices. This position will be for a period of 6 to 8 months.

As a Sales Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to process sales orders efficiently and accurately. You will need to validate and capture data, as well as check and verify orders that are processed automatically via EDI.

  • You will ensure that orders correspond with the ranging document, which means verifying that the correct product is being sent to the store.
  • In addition, you will need to check that orders meet the minimum order value (MOV) guidelines.
  • You will also be responsible for ensuring that invoices are not issued for out-of-stock products.
  • An important aspect of this role is processing and managing claims and returns, as well as quotes for customers.
  • You will monitor customer portals for new orders, claims, and stock levels.
  • Another key task is maintaining back-orders and liaising with clients, including updating stock levels and other relevant information.
  • You will also be responsible for sending invoices to customers via email and capturing unavailable or out-of-stock items.
  • You will track order deliveries and rejections, as well as manage queries with stores and warehouses.
  • This role requires strong communication skills to provide support to the finance and debtors function.
  • You will be responsible for managing key operational reports and ensuring compliance with established key performance indicators.
  • You will maintain up-to-date records of customers, customer master files, and sales records.
  • Scheduling order extensions with the replenishment department at the store is another important task.
  • You will create invoices and other customer-facing documents, as well as communicate with buyers to prioritize certain orders or plan opening orders for new stores.
  • You will provide support to the Sales Manager, Key Accounts, and other Sales Representatives on matters such as pricing, stock holding, delivery lead times, claims, returns, queries, MOVs, MOQs, and rounding profiles.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
