Job Title: Financial Planner

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is a leading financial services provider in South Africa, catering to the entry-level and emerging middle market. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and relevant financial advice, planning, and products to new and existing clients, tailored to their needs and requirements.
  • Procure sustainable business of high quality, in accordance with business targets set.
  • Maintain and service clients as part of a long-term relationship, building loyalty to the brand and generating ongoing advice and sales.
  • Undertake these activities within a compliant and ethical manner, resulting in the building and sustaining of the Sanlam Group business and brand.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) 'Fit and Proper' requirements and Regulatory Examination successfully completed, if registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for more than 24 months.
  • Knowledge and skills in financial advice and support, production target achievement and budgeting, compliance and risk management, client relationship management, and financial planning and recommendations.
  • Personal attributes of effective communication, technical savvy, action orientation, interpersonal savvy, and persuasion.
