Planner needed for a process control and instrumentation company to do all administrative functions, planning and scheduling of the final control services. Planning and scheduling of work associated with customer maintenance contracts.

**Position details**:
Type: Permanent
Reports to: Services Supervisor

Primary Purpose:
Responsible for all administrative functions of the final control services office and the planning and scheduling activities associated with final control services in the region. Responsible for co-ordination to ensure that all repairs and service to both internal and external customers are delivered on time and according to our policies and procedures. Responsible for interface with the customer as to the status of repairs.

Job description / core competencies:
Planning and scheduling of resources, equipment and materials for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and services of valves.

Planning and scheduling of work associated with customer maintenance contracts.

Updating of shutdown, turnaround, and outage schedules for all customers in the region.

Preparation of all labour quotes in accordance with company and customer’s procedures.

Capture all quotations on Maximizer.

Update and maintain CRM for all service opportunities.

Process all service-related invoicing monthly.

Service progress reports and communication with customers daily.

Ensure that all materials and resources required are on time and available to perform work.

All administration related to the daily operations of the department.

**Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
Academic qualifications:
Grade 12

Planning & Scheduling course (Certified).

Certificate is MS Projects.

**Experience**:
Familiar with CRM Systems (Example - Maximizer).

3 years’ experience with quote preparations and invoicing, specific to the Final Control Environment.

3 years’ experience with financial system (Example - Sage X3).

Microsoft office fluency (Word, Excel & Projects).

Knowledge, skills & abilities:
MS Office suite - specifically MS Projects.

Effective time management.

High level of interpersonal and communication skills.

Execute tasks effectively.

Analyse issues and solve problems.
