Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect payments from overdue accounts on a daily basis to minimize outstanding balances.
  • Resolve billing and collections-related issues efficiently by interacting with customers and debt collectors.
  • Meet and exceed email, call, and collections targets while adhering to company procedures.
  • Manage customer accounts professionally, including updating records and processing payments.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their account balances and provide solutions to resolve any issues.
  • Manage credit and debit notes to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Suspend customer accounts when necessary, following established terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain high levels of discipline, respect for confidentiality, and attention to detail in all tasks.

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a billing environment.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
  • Relocation to Paarden Eiland, Western Cape or willingness to commute reliably.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong command of the English language.
