We are seeking a Project Manager to lead our energy solutions team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project execution and coordinating the project team.

Main job function:

  • Oversee the execution of energy storage and microgrid projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and integrity throughout all project activities
  • Collaborate with the bid and proposal team to support cost estimation and development
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in project management or a related field
  • Fluency in English is essential, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of power systems, electrical equipment, and switchgears is required
  • Familiarity with microgrid systems, battery storage, and renewable energy generation is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools is necessary
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally is required

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team. A strong understanding of energy storage and microgrid systems is essential. The salary range for this position is approximately R550,000 - R700,000 per annum, depending on experience.
