About the Job

The Strategic Projects Fund Manager is responsible for formulating and implementing strategies to drive investment growth. This involves overseeing all aspects of deal making, execution, and strategic planning related to deal sourcing and negotiations.

The incumbent will consistently lead transactions from identification, negotiation, closing, monitoring of investments, and finally exit thereof. They will manage departmental budgets and targets, as well as team performance and external stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
  1. Developing Investment Strategies: Identify and develop investment strategies to drive growth and meet the Nefcorp and Strategic Project Fund mandate.
  2. Deal Sourcing and Negotiation: Source and negotiate deals to ensure quality transactions that meet the company's objectives.
  3. Team Management: Manage a team of professionals to achieve business objectives.
  4. Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.
Requirements
  • Engineering Degree / B Com Degree
  • Combination of the above qualifications will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in deal making environment with minimum of 5 years people management experience.
