Job Description:

DataFin is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our cloud infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of our cloud infrastructure, including performance monitoring, backups, and proactive problem management.
  • Planning, testing, and execution of new builds, upgrades, updates, moves, and changes to our infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting and incident resolution for escalated tickets from first-line engineers.
  • Infrastructure change control, including planning, submission, and execution of all agreed changes.
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation, including architecture diagrams, maintenance schedules, and support documentation.
  • 24/7 support of our infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent degree/diploma.
  • Microsoft Server Certification (2012 R2, 2016, and 2019 administrator).
  • Linux Certification (Linux Certified Professional or similar).

Experience:

  • Dell SAN/Server Administration.
  • VOIP/SIP.
  • Networking/Diagnostic/Wireshark.
  • Windows Clustering and Windows Servers (2012, 2016, and 2019).
  • Backup and Recovery.
  • Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Nagios and Monitoring.
  • Linux (Ubuntu).
  • Helpdesk and Support Experience.
  • Technical Problem Solving.
  • VMware vSphere/ESXi.
  • Disaster Recovery/Risk Management.
  • Firewall/Security Experience.
