Job Title: Head of Programmes

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Programmes to join our team at Armstrong Appointments. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building effective teams to deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of programme managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including programme sponsors and team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience (8-10 years) in a senior project management role, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Strong project planning and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in different stages of development.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong numeracy, and budget control skills.
  • Competency in Office 365 applications, especially MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creativity and a forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
