About the Position
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Receptionist in our Eastern Cape Provincial Office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening and directing phone calls to relevant staff members in the Provincial Office.
- Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
- Handling visitor inquiries and providing information about our organization.
- Managing inventory and maintaining the reception area in a clean and organized state.
- Scheduling and coordinating support personnel diaries to optimize resource utilization.
- Fleet coordination to ensure efficient logistics management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of Matric / Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification.
- An Office Administration Certificate would be advantageous.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
Essential Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
