Key Responsibilities

• Setting Sales Targets & Goals: Develop long-term sales targets and objectives for the region in alignment with overall company goals, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic plan and market trends.

• Market Analysis & Planning: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends, and develop strategic plans for market penetration, including market research and competitor analysis.

• Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with Crop Advisors, key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term business success, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building skills.

• Partnership Development: Identify and develop strategic partnerships or alliances to expand market reach and enhance sales opportunities, including partnership development and management.

• Product Pricing & Strategy: Collaborate with product management and pricing teams to optimize offerings and pricing strategies based on market demand and competitive dynamics, ensuring alignment with the company's pricing strategy.

• Team Leadership & Management: Recruit, train, and manage high-performing Crop Advisor Sales Team within the region to execute sales strategies effectively, including team leadership and management.

• Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline management, and forecasting to identify areas for improvement and ensure targets are met, including sales performance monitoring and analysis.

• Territory Management: Allocate sales territories, assign sales quotas, and optimize territory coverage to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring effective territory management.

• Sales Process Optimisation: Continuously refine and optimize sales processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline operations and enhance productivity, including sales process optimization.

• Sales Enablement: Provide sales teams with the necessary resources and support to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance, including sales enablement and training.

• Budgeting & Resource Allocation: Develop and manage budgets for sales activities, including expenses, incentives, and investments, and allocate resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes, including budgeting and resource allocation.

• Reporting & Communication: Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives, and communicate updates, insights, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders, including reporting and communication.
