We are seeking a highly skilled Net Zero and Decarbonisation Consultant to join our Strategy and Advisory team in Cape Town, South Africa. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant to drive our clients' sustainability agendas forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project tasks independently and take on a client-facing role
  • Oversee project management of smaller scopes of work
  • Deliver high-quality consultancy projects within tight deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and project manager satisfaction
  • Guide junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Perform analytical and research tasks as needed
  • Report to a Principal or Management Consultant

Essential Skills

  • Degree in a relevant field (Civil Engineering, General Engineering, Energy, Sustainable Development, etc.), with a focus on renewable energy or LCA
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in carbon emissions accounting and modeling, preferably in the Mena region
  • Strong knowledge of built environment decarbonisation, sustainable materials, and energy efficiency measures
  • Life cycle analysis expertise, including One Click LCA
  • ESG and GRI knowledge and reporting skills
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
