Key Job Functions

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of financial management principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Invoice matching and batching for forwarding to the JHB branch.
  • Effective liaison with suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Preparation and submission of BBBEE schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Analysis and reconciliation of petty cash and credit card transactions using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Payment remittance processing for suppliers according to established procedures.
  • Verification and processing of creditors' invoices, adhering to company policies.
  • Assistance in credit application and vendor documentation preparation.
  • Regular reconciliations of creditors' accounts across branch divisions.
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in debtors' and creditors' roles, preferably in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong administrative skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Clear credit record and adherence to company policies.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • BCom degree or equivalent academic background.
  • Matric certification, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
