Senior Insurance Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Insurance Sales Director to lead our sales team at The Legends Agency.
About the Role:
- This is a dynamic leadership position that requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth through effective sales strategies, talent management, and process improvement.
- The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the short-term insurance industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans, budgets, and accelerated growth strategies to achieve profitable sales volume of all Momentum Insure products.
- Lead and direct the Momentum Insure sales team, motivating and inspiring them to achieve outstanding results.
- Ensure effective resourcing, development, performance management, and retention plans are in place for sales team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate sales distribution strategic objectives, plans, and operating models.
- Establish and maintain effective lead management processes to optimize sales performance.
- Manage risk and ensure governance of Momentum Insure sales activities, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification.
- NQF 5 or equivalent qualification, and/or FAIS credits (minimum 30 credits in short-term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010), or a recognized qualification as per the FSCA qualification list if date of first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010.
- FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5) and (RE1) for Key Individual.
- At least 5 years' experience in sales (short-term insurance).
- At least 3 years' experience in managing staff in a short-term insurance industry.

- You must be an experienced sales leader with a strong background in short-term insurance.
- You should have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve outstanding results.
- You must be able to develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage risk, and ensure governance of sales activities.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of R750,000 - R1,200,000 per annum.
