Digital Brand Development Manager

Job PurposeThis role leads the development and execution of Vector Logistics' brand strategy across various channels, enhancing internal and external engagement. Key responsibilities include managing brand enhancement, working closely with HR, Customer Team, and Leadership to drive alignment with company objectives and values while optimizing resources and cost efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Content Strategy & Management- Develop a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with company goals, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand identity across digital touchpoints.
- Drive market positioning of the Vector Logistics brand, focusing on its value proposition and ESG strategy.
- Support brand achievement of its strategy and goals by understanding customers and service offerings.
- Present and deliver the strategic marketing vision and direction to key business units and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Employee Engagement & Comms Manager to develop engaging employee communication initiatives.
- Support creation of digital newsletters, email campaigns, and other internal content with limited external design assistance.
- Enhance internal communication effectiveness through digital tools and platforms managed internally.
- Develop and execute digital campaigns to enhance employer branding and corporate reputation.
- Manage content for the company website, ensuring it remains up to date.
- Work with the Customer Team to craft and distribute external-facing content, including press releases and social media updates, relying minimally on external agencies.
- Monitor digital brand perception and ensure consistency in external communication using in-house resources.
- Develop collateral for social media channels.
- Track and analyze social media metrics.
Required qualifications, skills, and experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in a brand and digital communications environment.
- Experience managing digital platforms, social media, and internal communication tools.
- Familiarity with the supply chain and logistics industry is advantageous.
- Experience in employer branding and employee engagement initiatives is beneficial.
- Attention to detail.
- Creativity and innovation to drive in-house content creation.
- Strategic thinking.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Digital literacy and adaptability.
- Project management and time management skills.
- Strong brand development and management.
- Execution of the brand/marketing communications plan.
- Management of end-to-end process of brand development – L&A.
- Ensuring overarching communication objectives and big ideas are understood to deliver an integrated plan across all channels and touchpoints.
- Execution process and adherence to approval process from a brand perspective.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), digital analytics, and online engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia content creation is highly advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
