The successful applicant will be responsible for manufacturing, modifying, and assembling mechanical equipment and components according to engineering drawings. This will involve working on complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture, modify, and assemble mechanical equipment and components according to engineering drawings.
  • Test individual components or plants to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Provide fitting and machining skills support during commissioning of test facilities or client products.
  • Assist with QA/QC inspections and ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.

 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A trade certificate as a Fitter and Turner.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a workshop or field/project environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, precision engineering, and trade practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
