Job Role

We are seeking a Payment Solutions Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing payment services projects as per the company's roadmap. This role requires collaboration with technology providers to deliver recognized payment methods in each market, as well as innovative payment methods. The ideal candidate will have experience in system analysis and design, as well as a strong understanding of technical options for delivering payment architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deploy payment services projects;
  • Deliver payment solutions that meet functional constraints and e-commerce solutions landscape defined by the company strategy;
  • Analyze different technical options to deliver payment architecture;
  • Perform workload estimation and prototype development together with development teams;

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including technology providers, to design and implement payment solutions that meet the company's requirements. Additionally, the candidate will have the chance to engage and collaborate with technical stakeholders to get solution designs approved and in line with IT strategy.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Business Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT, and preference would be given to candidates certified in TOGAF or similar frameworks. The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in payment solution/end-to-end architecture, preferably in the South African Banking industry, and experience in system analysis and design. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in EA tools like iServer and modeling experience is required.
