Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Oversee the production process, including planning, supervision, and problem-solving to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Logistics Management: Manage incoming and outgoing cargo, including import, export, and logistics operations.
- Staff Management: Collaborate with the HR Manager to manage staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Operational Expenses: Manage operational expenses, including budgeting and cost control.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including stock control and management.
- Compliance: Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation, and implement measures to rectify non-compliance.
- Metrics and KPIs: Develop and monitor production metrics and KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Operations/Production Management qualification or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Experience: At least 10 years of operational experience within a manufacturing environment and at least 5 years of management experience.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent leadership skills, and excellent attention to detail.
- Education: Relevant education and training in operations management or a related field.
Competencies:
- People Management: Strong people management skills in an industrial environment.
- Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with proven planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft 365 and at least Intermediate Excel abilities.

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety, sustainability, and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
