Position Overview: The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus, is looking for qualified candidates in the field of Commerce to enhance the teaching and research capabilities within the Faculty of Management Studies for the following role:

  • Brand Management 3B: Strategic Brand Evaluation

Role Objective:

The primary objective of this role is to provide effective teaching and facilitation of academic programs, along with engaging students and supporting their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering lectures and facilitating learning
  • Assessing student performance
  • Providing academic support to students

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Effective time management

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred:

  • Honours degree in Marketing Management, Brand Management, or Strategic Marketing, with Management and Financial Management or Accounting included in the undergraduate curriculum.

Alternatively:

  • Honours degree in Financial Management or Economics, with Brand Management or Marketing Management included in the undergraduate studies.

Experience Requirements:

  • Practical experience in the commerce sector.
  • Teaching experience in financial management or risk management, applicable to a marketing or brand management context.
  • Experience in Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Brand Evaluation, and Marketing Strategy, including:
  • Work experience as a financial manager or risk manager, preferably within a marketing organization; OR
  • Involvement in brand equity evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative metrics.

Working Conditions:

  • This is an Independent Contractor position.
