Position Overview: The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus, is looking for qualified candidates in the field of Commerce to enhance the teaching and research capabilities within the Faculty of Management Studies for the following role:

  • Brand Management 3B: Strategic Brand Evaluation

Role Objective:

The main objective of this role is to deliver high-quality facilitation and lecturing on academic programs, alongside engaging with students to foster their success and learning outcomes.

Required Competencies:

  • Effective Time Management

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred:

  • Honours degree in Marketing Management, Brand Management, or Strategic Marketing, with Management and Financial Management or Accounting included in the undergraduate curriculum.

Alternatively:

  • Honours degree in Financial Management or Economics, with Brand Management or Marketing Management included in the undergraduate studies.

Experience Requirements:

  • Professional experience in the commerce sector.
  • Prior lecturing experience in financial management or risk management, applicable to a marketing or brand management context.
  • Experience in Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Brand Evaluation, and Marketing Strategy, including:
  • Experience as a financial manager or risk manager in a marketing organization; or
  • Involvement in brand equity evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative metrics.

Working Conditions:

  • This position is classified as an Independent Contractor role.
