Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess a Grade 12 certificate and be a qualified Artisan with a background in Toolmaking and Fitting & Turning. A minimum of 5 years of experience in machining and toolmaking environments, as well as 2 years of experience in CNC programming and machining, is required. Additionally, you must be computer literate and proficient in English, with Afrikaans being an optional skill.

Essential Skills:

  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
  • Planning and completing tasks as set out on drawings
  • Programming and operating CNC lathes
  • Maintaining quality and tolerances
  • Meeting project timing requirements

Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
