Hire Resolve's esteemed client is seeking a seasoned CNC Machinist to fill a critical manufacturing role. This position involves setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components, adhering to precise specifications.

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming, monitoring, and optimizing machine operations to ensure production efficiency and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery for various manufacturing processes, utilizing advanced technical knowledge and expertise.
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate CNC Milling machines and Wire cutters to manufacture precision components, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Program CNC machines and optimize machine performance, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products, verifying adherence to specifications and ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues that may arise, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop prototypes, verify tests/trials, and manufacture tools to required specifications, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical qualification in machining or engineering, with a strong foundation in CNC technology.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of technical drawing software packages, such as Mastercam, VisCAM, and AutoCAD, and proficiency in programming G-code and Mastercam.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating CNC milling machines, with expertise in machining complex components.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T, with the ability to interpret and apply technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes, with excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with a commitment to resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
