Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the accounts payable team, providing leadership and guidance to achieve optimal performance
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements and accounts to resolve discrepancies and improve relationships with vendors
  • Implement and maintain effective accounts payable procedures and controls to prevent errors and ensure seamless payment processes
  • Assist in the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and reporting to provide stakeholders with accurate financial data

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
