Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stage Crew Member to join our team at Crew Life at Sea.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and strike of all stage and technical equipment for performances and events.
  • Operate lighting, sound, and other technical equipment during shows and events.
  • Work closely with the Entertainment Team to ensure all performances run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Participate in rehearsals and assist with any necessary changes or adjustments to technical aspects of the shows.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment on the stage and backstage areas.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment during port days and embarkation/disembarkation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or live entertainment setting.
  • Knowledge of lighting, sound, and other technical equipment used in stage productions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing schedules and show requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and obtain necessary travel documents.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
  • Must be willing to live and work onboard a cruise ship for extended periods of time.
