Job Description

Staff Solutions Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing financial tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute financial projects and tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Implement and manage robust financial systems and processes to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee cash flow management, including short- and long-term financial objectives and responsibilities.
  • Analyze financial data to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Lead the month-end closing process and oversee general accounting processing.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and accurate credit control procedures.
  • Provide financial insights and advice to drive business performance through accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and present management accounts to the board in monthly meetings.
  • Liaise with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant with a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent report-writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
  • MDA Property Manager (MRI Property Central) experience or knowledge of accounting software systems required.
