Director of Marketing Strategy

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to join our team as Head of Marketing at A-Z Business Professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns to achieve business goals and drive aggressive business growth and scale. This includes staying abreast of current market conditions, competitors, and segments to identify opportunities and understand customer needs and preferences. You will also attend weekly management meetings to drive the marketing strategy across the business and collaborate with other divisions to identify new opportunities that align marketing strategies with business objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
You will manage and monitor service providers to ensure they deliver agreed outputs and drive continuous improvement. You will also oversee the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events. Additionally, you will analyze and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
Leadership and Collaboration:
You will lead brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency and strengthen brand identity. You will also create and manage the brand messaging matrix and drive this across the business and with service providers. Furthermore, you will manage Weelee's positive public standing through PR efforts and maintain favorable media relations to ensure the Weelee brand is represented accurately and consistently across all external and internal communication channels.
Team Management:
You will build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team. You will drive ideation and collaboration across business departments and foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages team members to contribute ideas and take ownership of projects.
Budget Management:
You will prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and funds. You will also track and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior marketing role, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and team leadership. Strong understanding of current digital marketing techniques and best practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills. Ability to think creatively and innovatively. Strong leadership and team management skills. Strong presentation skills and ability to create Shareholder Presentations. Strong reporting skills. Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, Google Analytics, social media platforms).
