Job Summary

HR Genie is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service centre, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair broken or malfunctioning components of refrigeration equipment, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
  • Disassembly and Reassembly: Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs, and reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
  • Quality Control: Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear, and test newly repaired equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Provide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of component/part failures, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellence in customer service delivery through meticulously following procedures/processes and providing timely and accurate information to customers.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all OHS procedures are followed and that all tools and equipment are handled with proficiency and respect.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance, including diagnosis and repair of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
