  • Financial Monitoring and Control: Continuously monitor and control project budgets, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to maintain financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to address cost-related queries and provide transparent and timely information regarding project financials.
  • Contractor Management: Oversee and manage costs associated with contractors, ensuring that their expenditures align with project budgets and contractual agreements.
  • Cost Management: Manage working costs effectively, ensuring that all expenditures are tracked and controlled in line with project budgets and financial policies.
  • SHERQ Compliance: Adhere to Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality (SHERQ) standards, promoting a safe and compliant working environment in all cost control activities.
  • Work Ethics: Demonstrate high standards of work ethics, maintaining professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all financial management activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Certificate in Project Management and Cost Management.
  • Minimum of six (6) years operational cost control, estimating, and operational contract management experience.
  • Registered professional Quantity Surveyor (advantageous).

Estimated Salary: R 800,000 - R 1,200,000 per annum.
