Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Contract Manager to join our team at EDF Renewables. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for advising and assisting the Project Management teams in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning phase of the Oasis Project.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of contract management principles and practices, with experience working on projects in the Renewable Energy industry. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project requirements in terms of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), quality, planning, risks, cost, and safety.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring contractual team is properly mapped into the project organisation
  • Managing contractual project risks within the contractual scope
  • Liaising with stakeholders effectively in line with the contracts
  • Participating in the upstream contracting process to ensure an optimum adjustment of contractual commitments

You will also be responsible for:

  • Enforcing contract provisions and identifying strengths and weaknesses of the contract
  • Exercising ongoing due diligence as regards any related risks
  • Managing potential changes in the contractor's commitment scope
  • Drafting execution assessment reports and sharing lessons learned from the contract

In addition, you will:

  • Verify progress payment claims of the contractors
  • Anticipate and coordinate actions related to major claims
  • Support Work Package Manager during negotiations with the Contractors

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Law, Engineering and/or Construction Law or equivalent with proven experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with projects in the Renewable Energy industry, preferably in the REIPPPP
  • Track record experience in different contract management lifecycles within a project
