Role Overview:
As the Global Talent Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategies to drive Netsurit's ambitious growth goals. You will lead efforts across multiple regions to foster a workplace where employees thrive professionally and personally, ensuring that our values and cultural imperatives are fully integrated into all aspects of employee experience. From acquisition integration to implementing talent acquisition strategies on a global scale, you'll be at the forefront of building a world-class people function in a rapidly evolving tech environment. Whilst you will oversee the entire Talent and HR operation, which has a significant base in South Africa, the lion share of your role will centre around work in the United States. As such, you will certainly find yourself having to adjust your day to accommodate for the US time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Netsurit's people-first culture, ensuring alignment with our 2030 vision. Lead global people strategies that foster engagement, innovation, and inclusivity.
- Oversee a team of HR professionals, ensuring operational excellence and strategic impact.
- Elevate HR functions, predominantly in the USA, to ensure scalable practices that support global growth, workforce integration, and alignment with business goals.
- Contribute to organizational design initiatives to support growth, enhance efficiency, and ensure cross-regional alignment.
- Oversee the integration of people from acquired companies, fostering seamless transitions.
- Develop and implement talent strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent globally.
- Implement talent optimization strategies to unlock efficiencies and economies of scale as we grow.
- Champion DEI initiatives to foster a diverse, inclusive workforce aligned with Netsurit's core values.
- Leverage HR technologies to optimize processes, drive data-driven decisions, and enhance employee experience across the organization.
- Oversee performance management systems to ensure consistent, fair evaluations and development opportunities.
- Manage and improve staff benefits across the USA and South Africa, ensuring competitive offerings and compliance with labour laws and best practices.
- Contribute to organizational transformations, especially during mergers, acquisitions, and periods of significant change.
- Partner with leadership across functions to align talent strategies with business objectives, driving Netsurit's growth and operational success.
- Strategically sponsor and lead projects in the space to execution and completion, creating the intended value.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's Degree or MBA could be advantageous).
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a global organization or technology-driven industry.
- Experience building and implementing Talent and HR strategies in rapidly growing, multi-regional environments.
- Proven ability to lead change in fast-paced, high-growth organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage cross-functional teams globally.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and execution.
- Knowledge of the talent markets, laws, and imperatives in the US and SA regions.
