Finance Manager Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Somerset West. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for driving financial strategy and leading multi-currency financial management.
- You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- You will optimize financial processes and drive automation initiatives, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- You will manage cash flow, procurement, inventory, and risk, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
- You will lead and mentor finance teams across diverse regions, developing their skills and knowledge.
- You will oversee compliance and risk management, ensuring our business remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead and motivate finance teams to achieve their full potential.
- Implement financial processes and systems that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) / CIMA or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in FMCG or wine export ideal
- Expertise in IFRS, export regulations, and multi-currency transactions.
- Proven leadership in developing and mentoring finance teams.
- Strong ERP and accounting software proficiency (Palladium or similar).
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
- Experience in export or FMCG industries is a plus
- A proactive, organised, and results-driven individual.
