Job Title: Senior Living Facility General Manager

About the Role:
The Senior Living Facility General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational management of the facility, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of care for residents. This role requires a compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle union-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the operational management of the facility, including the medical department, catering, housekeeping, and administration
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain high standards of care for residents
* Manage a team of 55 staff members, providing leadership, training, and support
* Develop and implement strategies to attract new residents and maintain the pipeline of potential residents
* Oversee the financial health of the facility, including budgeting and fundraising efforts
* Build and maintain relationships with the Italian community and external partners
* Address union-related issues in collaboration with HR consultants

Requirements:

* Management Degree
* Medical Qualification (Highly Beneficial)
* Ability to speak Italian or willingness to learn within a year
* Proven leadership experience in healthcare, residential care, or hospitality sectors
* Knowledge of geriatric care and healthcare regulations
* Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and fundraising
* Experience in marketing and promoting services
* Ability to handle union-related matters
