Job Title: Senior Living Facility General Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our esteemed Senior Living Facility. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of geriatric care, and a proven track record in managing a team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest standards of care for elderly residents while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Lead a team of 55 staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure seamless operational management.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and maintain a strong pipeline of potential residents.
- Oversee the financial health of the facility, including budgeting and fundraising efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Italian community and external partners.
- Foster a culture of transparency, inclusivity, and continuous improvement within the facility.
Requirements:
- Management degree
- Medical qualification (highly beneficial)
- Ability to speak Italian or willingness to learn within a year
- Proven leadership experience in healthcare, residential care, or hospitality sectors
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and fundraising
- Experience in marketing and promoting services
- Ability to handle union-related matters
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
