A prestigious firm in the finance industry is seeking an experienced Portfolio Administrator to manage executive client relationships in Pretoria East. This exciting role offers a dynamic work environment, excellent compensation package, and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to financial planners, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and duties related to client portfolio management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing intermediary services as per the FAIS act;
  • Executing tasks and instructions via email, electronic voice, and telephone;
  • Preparing reports, typing, data capturing, and CRM maintenance;
  • Maintaining client relationships through effective communication and liaison;
  • Liaising with service providers, managing their execution, and maintaining minutes of meetings;
  • Reviewing and maintaining ongoing instructions and client portfolios;
  • Maintaining a professional office environment.
Requirements

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A matric qualification or a relevant bachelor's degree;
  • Basic understanding of economics, financial markets, income tax, and accounting;
  • Knowledge of insurance and investment administration, as well as regulation;
  • Computer literacy (MS Office) and familiarity with CRM systems;
  • Afrikaans and English language proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

They should also be able to prioritize activities effectively and manage difficult situations calmly.

Compensation and Benefits
