Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Operations Specialist to join our team at Optimal Growth Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and managing all site security operations across our sites, ensuring the safe and secure operation of our base station transmission infrastructure, assets protection, incident investigation, and case management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align Security Strategy with Business Operations: Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with our business operations, driving security performance across our sites to meet our objectives.
  • Champion Security Culture: Promote a security culture within our organization, serving as a single point of contact to coordinate and facilitate security operations, develop and implement security methods, tools, and standards.
  • Plan and Implement Security Initiatives: Plan, implement, and supervise security and safety awareness initiatives, joint policing operations, and security threat risk and vulnerability assessments to mitigate security risks and improve regional security operations.
  • Develop Security Standards and Procedures: Develop and implement best practice security standards, processes, and procedures for effective risk mitigation and fit-for-purpose improvement plans.
  • Investigate and Manage Incidents: Conduct root cause analysis on reported site security incidents, implement corrective physical security measures, and improve incident investigation and case management.
  • Develop Security Operations Plan: Formulate an annual security operations plan (AOP) and required CAPEX and OPEX budgets for efficient security operations.
  • Enhance Reporting and Visibility: Contribute to and enhance integrated dashboard reporting to enable information visibility for management decision-making.
Requirements
  • Security Risk Assessment and Site Security Profiles: Experience in conducting security risk assessments and site security profiles.
  • Security Project Management: Proven experience in security project management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and engagement skills, strategic and analytical skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Networking and Collaboration: Experienced in networking and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performance Management: Management of performance and service level agreement of contracted security service providers.
  • Security Regulations and Standards: Knowledge and capability to implement Critical Infrastructure Protection Act (CIPA), Minimum Physical Security Standards (MPSS), relevant security regulations, policies, guidelines, and standard operational procedures.
Education and Qualifications
  • National Diploma or Degree in Security Risk Management: A three (3) year National Diploma or Degree in Security Risk Management or equivalent.
  • Security Experience and Qualifications: At least 5-8 years of experience within the security environment, with two (2) years in a security supervision or management level, and registration with PSIRA Grade A & B.
