We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Systems Engineer to join our team at Royal HaskoningDHV South Africa. As an Air Conditioning Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing mechanical engineering (HVAC) services for data centre / industrial type buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design mechanical engineering (HVAC) services for data centre / industrial type buildings, preparing design tasks, reports, technical drawings, engineering specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Measurement and Estimation: Measure and compile bills of quantities for construction projects.
  • Site Inspection and Meetings: Conduct site inspections and attend meetings to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Commissioning and Expertise: Assist in commissioning processes and provide expert contribution as a project member, senior, or lead.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree: MEng/BEng/BSc/BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Professional Registration: Professional registration with ECSA is preferred for Senior/Lead positions.
  • Postgraduate Experience: Minimum 0-10 years of relevant postgraduate experience in mechanical building services, preferably within a consulting engineering environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of building mechanical services, including HVAC, wet services, medical gas, mechanical utilities, industrial process piping, fire protection, and fire safety systems. Familiarity with local and international standards and codes is also essential.

Estimated Salary:
